Following up on recent accomplishments, including the publication of the Basic Asphalt Recycling Manual, to the adoption by the Federal Highway Administration of an official policy on recycling, to the pilot program of the National Highway Institute’s brand new asphalt recycling and reclaiming training course, special features in Better Roads and Roads and Bridges, a new logo, and a another very successful joint annual meeting with the Asphalt Emulsion Manufacturers Association and the International Slurry Surfacing Association, members of the Asphalt Recycling & Reclaiming Association are seeing their industry organization get caught up and putting its new tools to work as it continues to make its technology known throughout the highway community. New this year were the recent introduction of the ARRA Cold Planing and Cold Recycling manuals, both which debuted at the highly successful Semi-Annual Meeting and North American Asphalt Recycling Seminar in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
