Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC)can be used similarly to PVC but at higher temperatures. Each manufacturer of CPVC has temperature limits that are different so it is important to consult with the factory for specific applications.

As a basis for comparison, CPVC typically can survive short temperature spikes up to 212oF (100oC) or longer temperature spikes of 194oF (90oC)
