The NT/P61 permit is located offshore Northern Territory, in the Timor Sea approximately 160 miles north-northwest of Darwin.
A 3-D seismic survey over the Caldita and Barossa structures was completed in late May 2007. A technical evaluation to define the size and quality of natural gas accumulations has been completed. A forward strategy for the permits will be finalized through 2009. [1]
