(PS) Pipe support is a device by which piping is carried from beneath or above and is used to carry the piping weight in compression.
Square I Beam for PS
When designing a pipe support and using pipe as the column, and I beam as the cross member, the I beam needs to be bigger than the outside diameter of the pipe for welding.
