About

The refinery in Melaka, Malaysia, is a joint venture with Petronas, the Malaysian state oil company. ConocoPhillips owns a 47 percent interest in the joint venture. The refinery has a gross crude oil processing capacity of 129 MBD of which the company’s share is 61 MBD. The medium, high-sulfur crude oil processed by the refinery is sourced mostly from the Middle East. The refinery produces a full range of refined petroleum products, and capitalizes on ConocoPhillips’ proprietary coking technology to upgrade low-cost feedstocks to higher-margin products. [1]
