conduction convection radiantHeat transfer by convection, abbreviated as CONVN, is the transfer of heat by air, water, or any other substance that passes over an object, the surface having a higher temperature than the one passing over itThis is one of four types of to heat transfer: mixing, conduction, convection and radiation.

Heat Convection formula

\(Q =   h \; A \; \left(  T_h - T_c  \right)   \)

\(Q\) = heat transfer by convection

\(h\) = heat transfer coefficient

\(A\) = cross sectional area

\(T_h\) = higher temperature

\(T_c\) = cooler temperature
