Area differential, abbreviated as \(\Delta A\), is the difference between an expanded or reduced area of an object.

 

Area Differential FORMULA

\( \Delta A =  A_f  -  A_i \)     (Area Differential)

\( A_f =  \Delta A  +  A_i \)

\( A_i =  \Delta A -  A_f \)
