Discharge Pressure
Discharge pressure refers to the pressure of the fluid as it leaves a compressor, pump, or etc., and enters the system it is intended to supply. When a pump is used to move a fluid, such as water or oil, it creates a flow by increasing the fluid's pressure. The point at which the fluid exits the pump is known as the discharge point, and the pressure at this point is referred to as pump discharge pressure.
